This is a Fiberglas Tape Coated with Non-stick PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of
tetrafluoroethylene -- most well known brand name of PTFE is Teflon® by E. I. DuPont Co.** Temperature and chemical resistant. Used as a release
surface on heat sealers and other packaging equipment. Used as protective sheets for hot press transfer applications. Also used as a low-friction surface
liner for conveyors and slide surfaces. Temperature range for PTFE is -100° to +500° F. Tape has .002" of acrylic or silicone adhesive. Acrylic adhesive is
more aggressive but does not have overall high temperature performance of silicone adhesive. Tape has a plastic release liner to enable ease of
application. 3" ID spools.
